Hi, I'm from Charleston, SC but am living in NY and we would like to have our wedding at Old Santee Canal or maybe Cypress Gardens. We checked out Old Santee last week and love it but would also like to rent the interpretive center for our reception. We are planing to have about 50-60 guests. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on how to use the space b/c there is an open tiled area which would be good for dancing but there are 2 smaller classrooms and didn't know if that would be good for stationing the food? I don't really like the idea of having guests split into 2 different rooms. Also, any suggestions to use the narrow hallway areas? We love the platation house and want an outdoor wedding by the water but with the indoor reception and the price is right so it seems like a great fit
