Tours and Trolleys

Hey does anyone know of any good and inexpensive group tours? I would like to make reservations for myself and my out of town guests.
I also need recommendations for trollies in the area. I have contacted Absolute Charleston but they a a bit too rich for my blood.

Thanks in advance!!

  • I suggest you check into the horse drawn carriages. They are downtown, and making arrangements is very easy.

  • You could check out Lowcountry Loop trolleys. I don't think they do tours but it would be good for group transportation. It's a newer company and you can charter a trolley for private events. We're thinking about having them transport guests to and from the ceremony and reception.

I've been looking for a more reasonably priced trolley rental. If you don't mind sharing, did Lowcountry Loop give an estimate of rental cost?

Its a flat fee of $100/per hour, which is still rather expensive but was the most affordable option I could find. They are larger than a typical trolley so we could seat more guests and make less trips which will save on the overall cost. (You are charged 30 minutes prior to the pick up time and 30 minutes after last drop off time).
