South Carolina Soeity Hall w/ 200 guests?

Hi,
Has anyone ever held a reception at the South Carolina Society Hall with 200ish guests?  We're looking to do reception-style (not sit-down) with stations/passed hors d'oeuvres, and I would like to have a small band and dance floor as well.  My fiance is very worred that if we have enough seating for 75% of the guests, and tables interspersed as well, we will be extremely crowded.  I am IN LOVE with the venue and would love to make it work, if possible.  Any advice?  Thanks!

I was at a wedding at the SC Society Hall. The bride had invited like 200 guests and there was not enough room for everybody in the upstairs ballroom. There wasn't enough seats, no room for dancing, and a lot of people left early because of it. You're FI is right. I will agree though the place is very pretty!

Could you maybe have the rehearsal dinner there instead?

Maybe you could try Hibernian Hall?  It is a good bit larger I believe and has a stage for the band.
