Isle of Palms Beach Ceremony - Strict Regulations??

HI!

I am planning a beach wedding ceremony at the Isle of Palms. I booked my reception venue already and was planning to have a beach ceremony at the resort.  Now after further reading, I found out that Isle of Palms has very strict rules on weddings, most concerning of which is prohibiting professional services (photogs, ministers, musicians)..  :-( Does anybody know someone that had a wedding on the beach at Isle of Palms?  Can anybody give any input on whether a beach wedding at Isle of Palms is doable?  Thanks!!!

Hi, I am pretty sure you can do a beach wedding on IOP now but Sullivan's is still banned.

Are you sure that is Isle of Palms? I know Sullivan's Island is like that, because we are planning to get married on Sullivan's Island. I had a photographer that I was trying to work with that refused to work with us because of the ceremony on Sullivan's Island.
