Wedding Planners

I am planning a Sunday brunch wedding in Charleston on May 1.  I am a few hours away in Florence, SC but I'm a very busy veteriarian and need someone in the area to handle most of the little details for me.  Do any of y'all have info on good wedding planners in the Charleston area?  I would prefer to have someone that charges a flat rate (rather than a percentage of the total shindig) but any recommendations would be helpful!

    My daughter was just married and we used Rory Metz with Jubilation. She was our Day of Coordinator and did a great job. She really helped us with any questions we had while planning. Her website is http://www.jubilationsc.com/

    Melissa at Charleston Celebrations is awesome. She did full service coordination for us last year and charged a very reasonable flat rate. We were also planning from out of town (located in DC, planning in Charleston) and Melissa was an amazing help. She suggested/found vendors and set up appointments for us for our planning trip. www.charlestoncelebrations.com/

    Thanks so much ladies!  I truly appreciate all the help I can get.  I really just want to sign a check and show up, but unfortunately that isn't an option.  I will have to give them both a call and see about pricing.

    You should call Amanda @ Southern Chic Weddings(843) 270-7837...she is wonderful and very reasonably priced. She will do as much or as little as you need. We LOVED her!
