Did you have any issues with CC?  Like any rudeness?  I feel like I didn't have the same experience that my friend had there and maybe others did too.  I felt like the gentleman at the desk was short with me, not only when I was there, but also when I called in for an appointment.  There was some other things...just wanted to know what your experience was.  Thanks!

Kristi,I had mixed feelings about CC. I loved my bridal consultant, Danielle. She was great. She picked out dresses that were my style and gave us yummy wine. She also didn't push us into buying anything. The owner didn't really want to have anything to do with me until I said I was going to purchase. After that she gave me a big hug. It felt kind of weird because I felt like she only did that because I was giving them $2,300.00. I ended up ordering my dress that day. When my dress came in 4 months later, I needed to pay the ret off within 30 days or I would be charged 10% on the dress. At the time I was working 2 jobs, 75 hours a week, with only Sunday's off. I asked if I could come in and pay for it on a Sunday and they said "We're open, but only to prom girls". I got in a short argument with the person on the phone about my availability and the answer was still "no". All I wanted to do was pay the balance on my dress and was appauled by the way this was said. I ended up having to take a few vacation hours to go pay it off. As of now, I'm getting alterations done and the person they use is wonderful. Even with my complicated 10 point bustle, it only came to $160.00. I also went in there recently to do the tux fittings with the boys and the guy at the front desk helped us. He wasn't bad to work with, I think he's just  alittle short with peopel in general. It may be that his family owns that business and he just works because they need help or something, or at least, that's what it seems like. I think if you love the dress and you KNOW it's the one, get it. It seems perfect! Even though the attitudes aren't always perfect there, they wil make sure everything is perfect for you as far as your dress/tux's, etc.

I wish I had a person like Danielle…you know?  When I got there he had me sit down and fill out paperwork…then Theresa (seamstress) came to help me.  She took me into the main room with their designer…he was really nice and had beautiful gowns displayed!  I just felt put on the spot and very uncomfortable, because I had NO idea about meeting with him.  I almost hit the floor when he told me how much a gown that I described to him would cost…Not that it wouldn’t be worth every penny, I just can’t afford it.  So finally they give me the option to try on dresses, but I felt like this was a very big hassle.  No smiles, excitement…nothing.  She said to me….I think sleeves look better on plus size girls because it breaks up everything!  Glad I am not easily offended about my weight.  She didn’t pick out anything for me…just let me and my friend pull things off the racks.  The one gown I picked she brought the designer in to look at and she said and he said…well this is TOTALLY different from what you described to us.  Like I can’t look at other things that catch my eye.  Finally we went upstairs and looked at their sale items.  And I picked the dress out that I am thinking of buying.  She finally was nice once I had it on.  She quoted me almost $400 in alterations (now $100 of it would be putting a corset back in if I want to), because the bustle would be big.  But from the sounds of it…you have a large bustle!  The owner was “ok”.  She wasn’t very interested either.  I just felt like the experience at Alfred Angelo and Bridal Emporium in Etown were WAY better and the people were just so nice and accommodating!  Much more than them.   I am so sorry to hear about your experience with them…I remember reading about your issue with them and the scheduling conflict.  Either they wanted your money or they didn’t…I just don’t get it! UGH!   But I really do love the dress…and like you said once you’re their customer (purchased something) they’ll do good by me.  I half want to complain though.  Oh well!  My mom and I are going over there tomorrow to have my mom look at the dress and possibly put a down payment on it.I appreciate your input!

That all sounds aweful. I'm so sorry for yoru experience. I didn't have to pick up anything by myself and Danielle was amazing to work with. Why don't you call back and ask to speak specifically with Danielle? Let them know that you we're happy with your experience, and that you want to work with her. I would have no problem telling them how I feel. My train isn't very big, it's just very delicate. They had to do many points to secure it because it's a light piece of mesh. Also, I did end up getting sleeves and I love them. They were right about that for me. I'm a size 4, but my butt is much, much bigger than the rest of my body, hahaha. The sleeves made it not look so big somehow? I love my sleeves though. They are adorable. I would have punched them in the face though if they indirectly called me fat. Jerks!

Thank you for your advice!!  Also thanks for letting me vent!!!  I called in today and the guy was very pleasant.  The owner is the one who helped me into the dress again so my mom could see it on me.  She was really nice!!!  I am glad...I didn't want to have to deal with snotty people!  Your dress looks beautiful in the pics and it sounds like it's going to be gorgeous bustled!  :)
