Wedding Bands in Charleston?

Hey Ladies,

I was wondering if any of you have any recommendations for a wedding band here in Charleston? Our budget for a band is about $2,400...we wont a more modern "hip" band that can play some great oldies and some current newer stuff...we really want everyone up and dancing!

    We used Fowl Play--they are a good mix of classic rock and some more recent stuff and def w/in your budget.  People danced a lot.  www.fowlplayband.net

    Permanent Vacation is fabulous and play a wide variety of music including all the type of music you are looking for.  They'll also learn something that you want played during formalities if they don't already know it.  They get the crowd up and going and keep the party flowing.  The only problem you'll have is getting your guests to leave at the end of the evening.  :)
