Rehearsal Dinner in San Francisco

Anyone have a recommendation for a rehearsal dinner spot in SF?  Hard to find private rooms or small restaurants around here...  We'll have about 40 people.  Any suggestion/idea helps!

    How many people will you have? I would suggest going on SFGate.com or Yelp.com and searching restaurants there. They will give you more information, including average cost, plus reviews and such.

    My friend had hers at Jack Falstaff, rented out side private room with lots of great windows.  She did an after reception at Bacar and did not have to pay a rental fee for the lower level wine bar.  Though other people not in our party did trickle in later, it seemed we had it all to ourselves for the first couple hours.
