Wedding Reception Venues

I am need of help and opinions. I am so stresed out about this wedding, My fiance' and I are paying for our wedding ourselves. We are on a strict budget, but food seems to be the biggest issue. We are planning on having our wedding at our church in Richmond, CA. We are interested in only having appetizers, cake and champagne. Can anyone recommend a reasonable venue to have it where we can have a DJ and where they can provide reasonable priced food or let us bring our own in near Richmond, CA.

    There is a great reception Venue in Crockett. Its only $650 with a $375 deposit, but you get that back.

    They only allow outside caterers because they don't have one. 
    I know a great caterer who is very very cheap and her food is amazing, she does appitizers for events all the time.
