Where to buy bridesmaid dresses?

I am having trouble finding bridesmaid dresses. Any suggestions? Our colors are black and white. The girls would prefer mid calf or long dresses, which is fine by me. I would like to keep the cost on the lower end if possible ($150.00 ish and lower).

For a lot of the "brand name" bridesmaids dresses, check out netbride.com for huge discounts.  You'll have to email them for a quote, but you'll hear back quickly and the prices are great.

I used styleshake.com and allowed my bridesmaids to design their own dresses.  Fully loaded and with shipping I spent less than $150 per dress.

also...these are a little more pricey, but i've actually seen someone wearing this dress as a wedding guest too.

Ooh, I do love the J Crew BM dresses.  If they had the right color, that's what I would have done.  Sometimes, they go on sale to $70-100, very reasonable for the cut and quality of cloth.

If it's black and white, what about doing something different by going to the Black and White store?  Might be expensive though.

I have two great suggestions, in San Jose.
One is Elegant Lace, where I got my wedding dress and bridesmaids'. Designer dresses for reasonable prices. Also, check out Tuxedo and Bridal Gallery in east San Jose..that area has some great little bridal shops that are inexpensive. The alterations there are also reasonably priced and they do a great job. Good luck!

I got ours at Bay Area Bridal/New Things West on Stevens Creek in Cupertino. The old lady manager is a real B**** but everything else worked out well. They have a large selection and my bridesmaids prefer this place to David's Bridal, which they said was a pain to deal with because all their staff was extremely rude. Plus I don't like their choices at all.

Since your dresses are just black and white, you could probably find matching dresses at Macy's or something that would work. More likely to find the color during the fall or winter season though if you want to get a department store dress.
