This is such a pretty dress! I brought it recently at a sample sale at the Priscilla of Boston Salon. I was told it was only used as a sample for 2 months since the salon had recently opened . I paid $2,725 plus 10% tax-- over $3K. THIS DRESS RETAILS FOR $5,450!!
Its a bridal size 8. It can be altered up a size and down several sizes. I wear a size 8 in street clothes and the dress fit me well, except was a little small around the chest (I wear a 36b bra). I was told it could be let out about 2" around the bust.
Its so pretty and romantic, with small flower details!! This is what made me fall in love with this dress!. It's strapless with a slight sweetheart neckline.
The material is silk shantung in a very soft ivory. There is also one-of-a-kind hand placed ribbon embroidery and beadwork throughout the dress. Because the dress zips along
the side, the back of the dress is just as beautiful as the front. Its in great condition.
It was a store sample, so it needs to be ironed since there are a few winkles (thats what the sales lady told me) but otherwise its in great condition. There is no dirt, tears, stains, etc!!
We just changed the venue of our wedding to be more casual, so this dress doesn't really fit our wedding anymore
