Wedding Ceremony with 400 guest?

Hi everyone!

My fiance and I are tryting to plan our wedding in June 2012. We  need a place for our wedding ceremony. We will have about 400 guest. We would really love a outdoor venue for our ceremony but if there are none we are looking for a church that would allow a uncle to marry us. We are having our wedding banquet at a chinese resturant in SF. 

Any suggestions woudl be fantastic!

Well, I kind of love SF City Hall, but it's not outdoors.

Fort Mason I think accommodates 300.
Fogarty Winery is smaller, 250 maybe.
Legion of Honor
Palace of Fine Arts

One of our friends had about 300-400 outdoors, but under a tent, at either the Ritz or the Fairmont SF -- can't remember which.

I am not any demoniation. My fiance is Christian.

If you are nondenominational, try the First Unitarian Universal Church.  I think their main chapel holds 500.
