Affordable caterer in the East Bay??

Hello, I need some help finding an affordable but delicious caterer in the East Bay. I will need appetizers for our cocktail hour as well as the entree for our sit down dinner. I am looking for a caterer that includes everything meaning servers, linens, china, glassware etc. I really want good food so I would hate to have to give up quality over pricing, however I am on a pretty tight budget and would appreciate any suggestions. I am having 100 people at my wedding and am getting married in Oakland. My budget for the food, china and servers is around $3000-$3500, am I pushing it?

You might want to consider a buffet style reception if your budget is real tight. I was trying to stay around $5k for everything you mentioned for our 175 guest wedding in Oakland, and all the places I found were beyond that. But I found Rafael's Catering (Vallejo) and the prices are AMAZING!! They do delivery and set up only, so he referred me to Elegant Memories out of Hercules. Sylvia offered me awesome prices for all the linens, tableware, bussers, even a coffee station. Unfortunately, we're not using Sylvia because we turned to our friend who is a wedding planner and will be helping with all those items. But I would highly recommend them, the prices were on point. If you decide to do it this way, I'm sure you can meet your budget.

Hello I'm an event planner at Ideas. Prop rental and Design.

We have some gorgeous wedding pieces: cake stands, striking tabletop pieces, including hurricanes, damask linens, chavari chairs, and approx. 40 different styles of chargers, plus much more.  Our rental fees are very reasonable and the look is dramatic and beautiful.

    Hi!
I'm in the North bay (Sonoma County) my caterer is doing my rental coordination.  And her food is amazing.  She was able to help me out and we're definitely on a budget.  Her name is Pegi Ball but I don't know if you're too far away.
When is your wedding date?  My brother is a DJ and told me I was probably able to get such a good deal because my wedding wasn't "in season" Wedding season is apparently May-September.  THey'll be able to charge and get full price every time during those months.

I was just on the Budget Weddings board and someone from Nor Cal mentioned hiring Boston Market for an all-inclusive $24/person buffet.  I'd look into that!
