Hostess Gifts?

I'm going home to Atlanta in a couple of weekends for 2 bridal showers. I know I need to bring/send thank you gifts to the hostesses - but between the 2 showers there are a total of 6 hostesses. Funds are really tight with the wedding coming up, so I want to do something nice, but inexpensive. I'm totally open to DIY projects... any suggestions?

    I am in the same boat and I went to TJ Maxx and got my hosts a platter and a planter, the platters were $4 each and the planters were $3. I peeled off the tags and no one else was the wiser! The platters were very nice, heavy and hand painted. They looked like they cost at least $20 each....good luck!
