Marriage License

I've tried calling to find this out but the automated service always hangs up and I can't press 0 for an operator: Does anyone know if I can just show up with my fiance and apply for our marriage license the Thursday before our ceremony on Saturday? 

I can't find any indication if we have to apply a month before or if there is any kind of waiting period...

    There is no waiting period.  You can get it anytime Monday-Friday.  You could get it the day before the wedding, though I wouldn't take that chance.

    I am so glad I saw your post!! And thank you to you who answered the question! I have been having the same frustrating difficulty trying to get ahold of the courthouse.  Good luck to you in your wedding day :)
