Do you really need a permit to elope in Forsyth Park

Hi if you wanna elope with just the bride, groom, officiant, and photography with a quick ceremony in the morning mid week day do you have to pay the 300+ for a permit? Thanks

No, the permit is for weddings where you would block off a section of the park (the fountain) for your ceremony or reception.  More than likely, you'll be there less than 20 min.
