wheat field?

looking for a wheat field I could take engagement picture in around Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh?

The only wheat field I could think of is up 501 towards Rougemont in the Quail Roost area.  I'm pretty sure they've got winter wheat in this year, I know they did last year.  Your best bet would be to drive around until you find the kind of thing you're looking for.  Then you can go to the county property listing website and look up the owner by searching the approximate address of the property (use the houses around it to get the general address, then use the map feature to find the field's listing) so you can ask permission to use their property.  You can get the owner's mailing address from the property listing and then either send a letter or use whitepages.com to get their phone number.
