Anybody know of any, or have suggestions for affordable cake bakers in the Raleigh area?

    Caren did our wedding cake and it was DELISH! I can't wait to get our 1st anny cake from her in a couple months :o)

    She's also extremely reasonable in pricing and great to work with!
    Our cake is in her gallery. It's the white 2 tier with hedgehog toppers :o)

    we are looking at Ashley's Cakes, we have a meeting with her next month. Cinda's was also recommended by our caterer.

    I LOVE Ashley's Cakes. They were so nice and professional and their cakes are outstanding!

    Not sure what you cake budget is, we went with Lori at Simply Cakes (www.simplycakesnc.com). I think pricing starts at 3.95 a serving, free delivery if you book within a week of tasting, and free anniversary cake w/ cost of shipping on your first anniversary so that you don't have to freeze the top layer. She's in the cary/apex area, not far at all

    We also thought about doing our cake from Guglhupf www.guglhupf.com as their prices looked very reasonable and I know their pastries are great. They are located in Durham.
