Local Dress Maker?

I have fallen in love with another...and DF is very accepting...Of my  gown, that is.. :) THe only problem is, Its WAY out of my budget. I went there to try the dresses on to simple get an idea of what style i liked and Yeah.. Now im in trouble :)   Its $900.. my budget is more like $300.  Anyone have a recommendation of a local dress maker whom might be able to make this gown? Its MAggie Sottero, Karena Royale (S5229)

    It would probably cost close to that for it to be specially made. Have you checked with J&B in Chambersburg. They carry her line and run specials all the time. I would call and ask if they have it but don't go until you are ready to buy bc you get 10% off if you buy your dress the first time your there. If your interested in their number its 717-263-0138 talk to Amy I worked with her and I didnt buy my dress the first time but went back and it was right after the sale ended. She called the company and saved me a couple hundred dollars. My dress is also a Maggie :)! Good luck

    Have you tried Pearls Place? I've heard you can get dresses from them for much cheaper! Also, keep an eye out on the for sale forums for wedding stuff!

    You may want to try Tara's Bridal in Camp Hill. They claim to have dresses at discounted prices that they have gotten at trunk shoes and other avenues. I've never been there, but it may be worth checking out. Here is their Website: http://tarasbridal.com/index.htmlGood luck!

    Which area might you be in?  Mary made my dress but she is located near Williamsport (and was extremely affordable!)
