Hello Louisville Brides!!!Congrats to each and every one of you on your upcoming engagement. Enjoy the ride!I just wanted to give you guys a short review on a couple of vendors in the Louisville area we used. Our wedding was in Texas; however we used, Millennium Eventsin Jeffersonville, In., The Graphic Design Girl and Splendid Events llcin Louisville. I am a proud Kentuckian in the big state of Texas.
First, BJ and Jason with Millennium Events and Floralare so daggone awesome it’s sick!! I shopped around here in TX and still couldn’t find anything I wanted for my table covers. (Imagine that!) Nothing fancied this KY Philly enough. So, my wedding coordinator, (Pam of Splendid Events), set up an appointment with BJ and Jason. Their variety of covers from chairs to tables totally blew me away. I walked away from there with happy feet, and literally floating. My runners, chair covers, and table covers were so beautiful, stylish, regal, and darn right fitting with the night. Not to mention they managed to match my programs, and colors. I had them shipped here to Texas, and everything went smooth with this also. A++
Rhonda, at The Graphic Design Girl, designed my programs and menus. I met with her at the airport an hour before my flight back to Houston, and when I landed she had a rough draft for me to view. It was like she jumped in my mind and pulled my vision right out! A++
My groom and I choose to use Pamela Broadus of Splendid Events for our event planning. We choose her because originally we were thinking of getting married in Louisville. Well as you know of Brides, we tend to change our minds and we decided to get married in Texas. Pam’s words, “No Problem, I can do that!”, and that’s exactly what she did. Only she was splendid! She was so kind, and made me feel like I just wasn’t a client, but like her little sister instead. She gave the best advice and guidance from start to finish. Even though, this was her first destination wedding I would have never known! If you have her for your coordinator, you will be extremely happy with the outcome of your wedding. A+++
Houston has a lot of wedding planners, and places, vendors. The bottom line is I wanted people that I felt totally at ease with and could relate to me in my Kentucky Essence of life her in big ole Texas, and these individuals exuded this in their business and in their KENTUCKY PRIDE!!! I am a proud KENTUCKY GIRL!!!
