Vases

Hello, I am needing medium size vases for my wedding. Has anyone looked into renting the vases? I have seen them as cheap as $5/a piece at Meijers & TJ Max. I wasn't sure if anyone else has found a better deal.  There is a rental place on Frankfort Avenue, but they are about $5 just to rent!

Generally, you would get them from your florist.

I'm not sure what size you are looking for, but the The Dollar Tree has vases for $1. They are a good size (7" I think). You can buy them by the case on their website and have it shipped to the store for free!

I'm not having ANY flowers at my wedding (I'm making them out of paper, silk, & using a lot of Christmas decor...) & 7" is too small! I think $5 is reasonable. I'll just have to get over buying 12 & maybe sell them on Craigslist afterwards!

As far as pricing, the best place would be the dollar stores. They have moderate size vases. But if you want to spend more than $1, you could try Hobby Lobby, Garden Ridge, etc. I am not sure where to rent vases and I didn't even discuss it with our florist because we already had our vases. Maybe you can try Garden Ridge as well. It's like a big warehouse of nothing but houseware and decor. The price is not bad either!
