So disappointed with our photographer!

My brother got married in early October.  We got the pictures back and they are terrible.  There are a few good shots for sure.  But there were a bunch that were out of focus, the rule of thirds was abused (people over so far to the left of the picture that their arm is cut off), there was ONE picture of the wedding party where you could see people's faces, and few pictures of people dancing and living it up at the reception.  Also, the ceremony...all the pictures were far away and she didn't get the groom's reaction to seeing the bride for the first time.  How do you miss that stuff?!

We contacted her and basically got an "I'm sorry you're disappointed, but that's my style."  Lame.

I assume it is the photographer near your ticker?  I went on that site and was not impressed.  She states she became a photographer by accident and her site shows it.  Her lighting is off and the couple on the park bench with the baby could be adorable but there is too much space between then so to me it looks akward.  Also, who adverertises as a photographer that does wedding and I don't see a wedding on her website?  I would not have her do a wedding!!

I am not impressed either. $1200 starting price? I wouldn't pay her a dime to shoot my wedding. I'd sooner have my fiance's 15-year-old sister take photos. Sorry you didn't get good results, just try to make the most of the decent photos and those that family got.
