The nitty-gritty: This is a classic romantic styled dress made from Angel Satin in the White color from Ella by Essence. Dress comes with a detachable angel satin and beaded jewel belt. The floor sample always has a black belt, but mine is all white. The train is chapel length with a corset back. Straps are included and are optional.

The fluffy stuff: This was one of the first dresses I tried on. It fit perfectly. I normally wear anywhere from a size 0-2. It fit me perfectly, laced all the way up. My sister tried it on, and she usually wears a 4-6. It fit her nicely also...the lace up back was just a bit more spaced than it was on me. a 4 is the labeled size, and most likely labeled pretty well. The color is listed as white which I was not into at first, but this a perfect white - looks traditional and classy without being the stark white that has blue undertones when using a cheaper material.  At first I was not a fan of the corset back but that essentially is what made it fit like a glove. I have little shape, and the built in bust, "seatbelt" waist, and rouching over the hips gave me an hourglass figure. Ironically, my younder sister tried it on, and it looked great on her as well (smaller waist and large hips) The corset will form fit to your body type better than other dresses. There are technically three layers to the dress. The beautiful satin rouched top, the tulle that gives it it's shape and then the liner to protect your poor legs from the tulle. The train isn't too daunting in length and lays nicely on the ground. I wore it bustled for the reception. The nice seamstress installed an easy bustle system that is quick to put up by an attendant. The dress comes with straps and buttons for them, but it is essentially a strapless. There is also boning in the bodice and a strap to go around your waist to hold the dress up while someone laces you in. I never once felt like I needed to yank the dress up, like one does many times in strapless items!

Dress comes from a smoke-free home and is also spill/stain-free. Worn only one, and has the belt (all white) with it.

Dress Alterations

The seamstress took about an inch off the bottom but I choose to wear two inch heels with the dress so there is quite a bit of length to it (I'm 5'7" barefoot). She also installed a bustle system for easy access. The bustle could easily be changed, should you want a different type.
