Booked a photographer!

We are going with the Wiebners!! I just love them! We're also doing an engagement session with them. It feels a little silly after being engaged for so many years but I'm happy to go along with it!

I will have to check them out. Do you have a website for them?

Hopefully I'm not being too forward...but what were their prices like? I emailed them for information and they haven't gotten back to me yet... I'm a little impatient too! haha. :)

Hey Vintage, Congrats! Just a word of warning though. My best friend used the Wiebners last September for their wedding and they JUST got the pictures. He was really upset and said they had to constantly keep calling them and a lot of excuses were made about why it was taking so long, even though the contract stated the pictures would be in within a month. I had looked in to using them and my friend said they really like the pictures but to be SURE to let them know you expect the photos in a reasonable time. I hope you don't have anything to worry about! And again congrats, they really do do amazing work.

Thanks for that warning! I'm sorry your friend had such a bad experience. Hopefully they got something extra out of it for the inconvenience. I would go CRAZY if it took that long to get my pics back...especially with their prices! And as for those prices, they were by far the biggest part of our budget. The wedding packages started at 4,500. But we really, really love the work they do and figured it was worth every penny to have them shoot our wedding. We are being especially thrifty with every other aspect of the wedding so we can afford them. The pressure will be on! I have high expectations :D

My friend also used the Wiebners.  She got married in June and are getting the pictures back soon.  She got all of the proofs back (online) several weeks ago, and the album will be coming shortly.  She's kept in pretty close contact with the Wiebners; I'm not sure if that's had anything to do with it!  (She's also living across the country, so that might also have something to do with it!)It's hard to blip over the year-long wait...but I'm always amazed at just how long quality photography/retouching/etc. takes.  My friend is a photographer, and retouching the number of photos that she takes at weddings is a bear of a task.As for the Wiebners, I am IN LOVE with their photography...I can't get over them.  Congrats (a little late) and good luck!!
