I just got back from an informal "consult" at the Cold Stone on Hurstbourne. Eric and Kami are really great to talk to! A very sweet husband/wife team. They will full-out cater an individual cup of ice cream for each guest (about $3 to $4), or you can buy the 1/2 gallons for "self serve." Eric took me behind the counter to show me around and made sure I sampled every flavor. Haha. Those calories don't count since it was official wedding business, right?
So far, so great at Cold Stone for catering ice cream at our wedding. They will also deliver ($25). I was really pleased with the service today. He also sent me home with a little cup of chocolate (my favorite!) ice cream.
I didn't comparison shop with other ice cream places in the area because it was important to us to have Cold Stone (where we met, first date, etc.) but I am really happy with what we will be paying for ice cream for almost 200 people.
