When should my fiance book his tuxedo rental? How much does it usually cost? He is wanting a gray suit (with like textured material, does that make sense) and a light pink bow tie - do rental places have bow ties available for rental as well?

Bow ties are typically included in the rental (option of "euro tie or bow tie." Most places have suits as well, some are called "Destination suits." You just have to call each store or look at their online catalog. Be sure to compare prices on the whole package of what you want. Some places charge extra for a vest ro shoes, some include them in the rental price.
We are reserving ours this week (April wedding) but I think it's typically something that can wait a while.
I would just go ahead and reserve it if he knows what he wants already and you won't be changing your minds, especially if there are sales you can take advantage of right now.
