North Lake Tahoe Venues - Private Homes

Hi - can anyone suggest where to find a listing of private luxury homes in North Lake that rents out to weddings under 80 people? We are looking for a venue with (hopefully) a lake front/view, and a backyard reception to do both ceremony and reception in one location.  I've tried VRBO, Home Away, tluxp.com, and I'm not able to find that many venues that fit the description.  Oh - - even a bigger bonus if the property is dog friendly, we'd like to include our 2 dogs in the ceremony.  Thanks for all your help!

You might want to try The North Lake Tahoe Honeymoon Association or Weddings of the West. They might have some private homes listed in their venue directory. I've photographed a wedding at The Fitzhaven House in North Lake Tahoe and the view is gorgeous; pretty sure they're dog friendly too. 

You might also want to try contacting Chase International's offices in North Lake Tahoe. They also have offices in Incline Village and Truckee. They're pretty much the premier luxury RE company and might know of some properties available.

Any luck with these?  FI and I are looking as well.  Fitzhaven IS dog-friendly, though spendy!  There were some other places listed under the venue section at the Mountain Magic Catering website as well.  We couldn't use some of them because they were too small (we're 150-ish) but they might be perfect for you!

I am having my wedding (75 ppl) at my parents NorthWest lake house and after my wedding (this July) they are probably going to rent it out for weddings...probably through Tahoe Luxury Properties. It's on Olympic Drive if that helps you find the listing (if there is one). Also, my wedding planner, Stephanie Anderson of One Fine Day events has access to a ton of awesome private homes.

sorry i meant NorthWest shore! It's the west shore, but about 1 mile from tahoe city, so not very far down the west shore.

This was our original idea, but we had a tough time with this. We loved Moon Dunes, but they were not booking until January/February for our July wedding. We couldn't wait that long. So, we ended up booking at The Ridge in So. Lake.  Granlibakken was another option, but the dates were not available.
