Invitation Printing

I was wondering if anyone knows of any 'cheap' printing companies / stores in the GTA?
Thanks in advance!!

Re: Invitation Printing

  • What type of printing are you looking for and where abouts are you located (east, west, north GTA?).

I do a lot of small print jobs and have always had great results with a company called McLaser. It's GTA west (google map matheson ave E and spectrum way) and they're very well priced and do a fantastic job.

I think the last job I ran was was 500 copies on an 80lb matte linen paper and it ran about $180.  I can't be 100% sure without tracking down the invoice, but I'm pretty sure it was somewhere around there! If you're in the east end, I've got great prices but only good results with another company. I can't remember the name off the top of my head, but if you need it I can track it down.
  • Depends on the kind of printing you need done...let me know what you need and I can give a few suggestions as well.
  • Sorry I should have been more detailed - I am looking for printing on card stock - laser printing, mainly black ink - though a little colour. I am in GTA east...
    Thanks again for your suggestions!

Unfortunately I've found printing in general is more expensive than I'd like it or expect it to be.

Check out Costco printing, they recently started a business printing service and the prices seem better than Staples/Office Depot.

If you're only doing laser black, it should be pretty affordable.  Or you can buy your own laser printer for ~$100 and then keep the printer afterwards!

When looking for printing for my wedding I found CanadaCopy - I'm on their mailing list but I never actually ended up ordering from them.  Their prices seemed cheap.
  • I used The Paper Place in Marhkam for both cardstock and printing - they were difficult to deal with at times, but they had really good prices!
  • The Printing House is awesome and there are a billion locations all over Toronto. We used them for our DIY invitations that our friend designed. They were super affordable and highly professional and excellent to deal with. Highly recommend them!
