bridal lingerie

any recommendations for good store, preferbly close to mississauga, but not a big deal.

    How sexy are you looking for?  Is there something specific you've been looking for that you can't find?

    The only place I can think of in Mississauga that isn't in a mall is Aren't We Naughty, which is on Dundas St. near Winston Churchill.  It's pretty raunchy stuff usually in there though.

    I buy most of my lingerie at La Senza/Silk & Satin/Victoria's Secret/La Vie En Rose.  They also have nice stuff at department stores - The Bay, Sears, etc.  Most of these stores are at Square One.

    La Senza (all over) & Victoria's Secret (Square One and Eaton Centre) are great!  Both have frequent coupons and sales to look for!

    i meant the lingerie you wear under the wedding dress, i know of those places but was looking for something different

    Ohhhh - they still have a lot of that stuff, plus The Bay and Sears would have shapewear.  Victoria's Secret would be better over La Senza for variety.

    I would hit victoria secret.  seems like it's very hot right now.  i'm sure you new hubby will love it for 20 seconds before he rips it off...

    Are you looking for shapewear or something sexy for after the wedding?

    I personally like Frederick's of Hollywood for something sexy, but they're an American company so that's probably not going to help you very much.

    As for shapewear, I think the Bay is good for that, plus most malls have those spanx booths.

    Shapewear - Spanx, Assets, or a store-brand in a similar style.  I'd definitely recommend seamless since the ones with seams down the front show in some tighter dresses.  You can get Spanx at the Bay and at the Spanx booths in the mall and other brands at the Bay/Sears/Zellers.  I got store-brand ones and they were half the price.

    Sexy - any of the places we listed before.  La Senza, Victoria's Secret, La Vie En Rose.

    Not in Missisauga, but I found some beautiful bra sets at "Secrets from your Sister" - and free bra fitting (highly recommended).  I have an appointment this week at Melmira - they recommend appointments and will fit you for the best under-the-dress or sexy lingerie. They also specialize in swimsuits.

    Not cheap - either of these places, but hey - this is your wedding!
