Hair stylist advice???

My wedding is in June, so I think I need to book a stylist ASAP, but it's something I've avoided because I don't know where to start.  The person that usually does my hair is great at coloring and cutting it, but the last time she styled it she said it would stay curly all day and the next  but by the time I had walked home it was mostly gone. I'm having an outdoor wedding, and just want a bit of volume and loose, natural looking curls. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it! thanks

Going to someone you trust is key, so make sure you have a trial.  They use a LOT more product on the day of, too.  If your hair is not curly, the curls will loosen throughout the day, you can't really avoid it.  If it's thin, it will also lose the curl more quickly.  My hair IS curly (but they curled it into barrel curls), and it lasted all through the day and night of my wedding, no problems at all.  You can always find a stylist to come to you as well, but book ASAP because there are probably a lot of stylists booked already.  Let me know if you need stylist recommendations - I'm not sure exactly where you are getting married.

The best is to go with someone who you know has done a good job.... so start asking your friends.  Have any of them gotten married recently or been in wedding parties?  Find out who did their hair if they were happy.  

My maid of honour has recommended we use her salon.  A few months prior to the wedding we're going for a 1 hour consultation to discuss ideas, then later we go back for a trial.  We're planning that for early on a Saturday so I can test how long it lasts   and then make suggestions on the big day for things I want to change.
