Decoration Help!

Hi ladies

So I fell in love with a picture a while back and knew I wanted it to be the main decorating idea for our wedding

I plan to remove the coffee cups + saucers as well as the place cards.

My problem is that earlier this year, my mother bought 17 boxes of these hand painted tea light candles (in two shades of pink, clear, white). I love them as well, but I'm worried about them being too much with the table cloth.

Anyways I finally visited my parents and bought a set home with me (two broke in my luggage, but oh well) and then put them against the Table Cloth

I feel like maybe they do clash? or maybe i need to put something under them. of course they'd be all around the centerpiece so that would be hard to do.

Thoughts?

Thanks ladies!

Try placing a mirror under neath and use some rose petals...very simple yet chic...

or just stick to using the pale pink ones, than the fuschia ones don't stand out too much

Very cute, maybe you could have a grouping of the votives on your guestbook table, or escort card table, or spread throughout the venue (washrooms, window ledges etc).

Or like pp said, put a mirror under the centerpiece and then you could place 3 votives on top of the mirror.

    thanks ladies

I'm going to try a couple different ideas. I think the biggest suggestion is to put a solid black cloth in the center under the centerpiece and then have the candles on that.

I would use them in other areas, but I have so many!

    Thanks again!

I think it looks great but I can see why you might be concerned about it looking busy. I like the idea of a solid black cloth. Maybe even a table runner.

    Gorgeous!

    I think spreading them around would is a great idea. On the guest book table, cake table etc;

Although, I don't think they look bad on thier own with the table cloth either. Keep in mind I'm thinking of putting Zebra lining on the inside of my dress, so I might be a little out there! LOL

Wow, I can't wait til I get to decor!!
