hi everyone

im new here, and dont really know where to begin, we got engaged april 3rd 2010 and are planning a destination wedding, we havent set a date yet because we want to save half of what it will cost before we start planning.. but i still feel i want to do something any ideas ???

    Hi, congrats on your engagement, and welcome to the board!

    I'd say that the very first things we did once we started planning were 1. draw up the guest list, and 2. determine the budget. I think these, along with saving up, all go hand in hand. Start looking up destination & venue ideas to start getting a rough idea of how much you need, or whether the budget you've set is realistic.

    Hello and welcome!  Definitely check out the Destination Wedding board on TK  - I'm sure those brides will have lots of tips, and there are a few Canadian girls who did DW as well who will chirp in with advice! :)
