OKay so what do I do..... I hate my Bridesmaids dresses!

A few months ago I went to Bridal and Beyond and picked out dresses for my girls.
I just got my swatch in today, and I hate the colour. The colour is called opal, I like it in the store but as soon as its in the sun it turns a ugly purple. The maker is JIm hjlum.
The gilrs already put down a deposit of $100.
Do i suck it up, or look for something else?
My wedding is July 31st, so I really dont have much time.
This is the only thing that had stressed me out during all the planning.

Since the girls have already paid the deposit, I think you should just let it be. You're looking only at a swatch; it will have a much different effect once it's in dress form. I looked up the colour and it looks like an iridescent fabric which will have many colours in any light, depending on the angle. Also, even if your photos are done outside in the sun, the camera will probably pick up the colour differently from what you're seeing.

If you insist on getting new dresses, offer to pay them back for the deposit.

I second PP. There are also other things that you can do to try and make the colour stand out less if you really don't like it like using different coloured sashes, wraps for the shoulders, scarves and bileros.

It looks like a really nice colour. If the dresses come in and you still don't like it you can downplay it with flowers, and accessories.
