York Region Photo Locations

Hello ladies!

We are getting married next month and have been having a bit of a photo dilema. We are getting married on Main Street Unionville with our reception in  Aurora. We always thought that we would have pictures taken on main street-until there was some drama at the city hall!

Apparently they are sold out (they only sell 1) of photo permits.

We are thinking about taking our chances with a fine but wondering if anyone knows any cool locations for photos in and around york region?

    Hey!
    I'm not sure how far you're willing to go but Kleinburg has the same atmosphere as Main St Unionville and I'm pretty sure you don't need a permit.

    If you want to stay closer to your reception area, there is Richmond Green at Leslie and Elgin Mills in Richmond Hill. I'm not sure about a permit so you'd have to check but it's a very nice park.

    I am getting married in markham but having my pictures done in uionville. I booked toogood pond which is next door to main street unionville. You can always use that instead.

    What about Fairy Lake in Newmarket?  If your reception is in Aurora, its not that far, and there are many beautiful spots.
