Venue in Niagara Falls Area

Hi Everyone! I just started planning my wedding and I am looking to book a venue in Niagara Falls or Niagara on the lake. It would have to be indoor because it is in November, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?

Thanks,

Sarah

There are lots of vineyards and "quaint" places in Niagara.  How many people are you expecting?

I know a couple who got married at the Oban Inn, but it was a very small wedding party.  There are tons of vineyards - Hillebrand, Peller, etc. as well.

I am thinking 150- 200 people. Thanks for the suggestion I will check out the wineries tonight!

Does anyone know anything about having a wedding at Queen's Landing? It is beautiful, I am just wondering if they are strict on decor?

Check out Hernder Estates- its a beautiful venue and it can hold a larger crowd- it would also be perfect for a fall wedding.

I could check out Ravine, it's a Winery in NOTL.  Their food is to die for and their white Reisling is the most expensive bottle of white wine I will buy on a regular basis ($28) and it is worth every penny. They were just putting up a huge concrete pad last time I was there so that they could host tented weddings outside. If I were getting married again, it would be there.

I agree re: wineries.  Niagara Parks venues are all beautiful as well.  I'm not sure about capacity, but Queenston Heights restaurant would be beautiful in November - the view would be breathtaking.

We just got married at Queenston Heights and it was fantastic - food, service and location. If they can't fit your guest count (not sure if they could) they have lots of other venues for larger weddings. http://www.niagaraparksweddings.ca/

Price-wise as well they are a lot more reasonable than the wineries we checked out in Niagara on the Lake.

I'm planning as well and so far I've halfway fell in love with a wedding at the Hilton. I've seen the Sheraton and maybe the Marriot have wedding packages as well. Looks like some people going throught the Niagara Falls parks commission as well. Congratulations on your engagement and good luck. Laughing

We've had our Christmas parties at Hernder's Winery and it's super cosy in their basement with the fireplaces going over looking the snow covered vineyards.  Definitely beautiful any time of year.
