A friend of a friends Aug wedding is now in limbo

Sadly, it's not the first I've heard of it.  It happened with a hall near the Royalton - they took deposits from couples, overbooked the venue, and then shut down in October.  A number of brides relocated to the Royalton.

Wow! I remember inquiring about this place a few years ago as a possible venue. They had told us that they could not work within our budget (our budget was too small for them to accomodate).
