Centerpieces for WINTER WEDDING

Hi all

I'm looking for ideas for winter wedding centerpieces.  I'd like to stay away from floral centerpieces and gear more towards candles or something unique.

The venue is modern/rustic with harvest style tables.

Any ideas are welcome!!

Thanks :)

Candles in hurricane vases, maybe filled with rocks or glass pebbles
Wreaths - berries, twigs, pine boughs (may be a little Christmas-y though)
    Feathers

    I love these:

    from martha stewart,

Or this site has instructions to make some winter centerpieces.

I hope those aren't too "christmasy" feeling for you though.

This is prob not very helpful, but you know that show on Slice where it is the 4 brides and they rank the weddings?  There was one episode where 2 of the brides had 'winter wonderland' for their theme.  Maybe is you can google the episode, you could get some good ideas.  I think I remember something about tall vases, branches and twinkly lights.

I considered a winter wedding, my idea for center pieces (notuniquue) branches spray painted white or silver with white twinkle lights or small lanturns with snow white and silver snowflacks haning off. You could also hang white snowflake sugar cookies.

    thanks for all the suggestions!
i don't want to get too christmas-y but the ideas i saw on those sites are a good start.....and can be altered a bit.
I've watched a few episodes of that show......good call on checking that out.
