Wedding bands

Where did you get your wedding bands? Does yours have diamonds in it, or is it plain? Did you get it designed specifically to match your engagement ring, or did you pick one that was already designed?

We oredered mine from Spence diamonds because the one that matched my e-ring on bluenile was WAY too much money(1750!!), The one we ordered is platinum with diamonds halfway around, it doesn't match my e-ring but it complements it. I think it took about 12 days to come in.

We ordered Fi's from titaniumrings.com. It was only $114 and got to Canada in about 4 days.

We got ours at the same place FI got my engagement ring.  I have a Tiffany cut solitaire, and my wedding band is a half row of diamonds that I feel compliment the e-ring well.  FI's is just a solid band - everything is platinum.  There are pictures on my bio under "bling" if you want to see any of them, and when I get them in 2 weeks all engraved, I'll have more pictures of them actually on!

FI's is a plain platinum band, and mine is a row of diamonds in a platinum setting, I also have a single tiffany cut diamond. We ordered them from a small jeweler where FI got my engagement made, and he is making them for us. We're having them engraved with "love everlasting j + d"  I'm so excited to get mine!!

We got both of our wedding bands from the same place H got my engagement ring - Josephine's Jewellery at the jewellery market across from Eaton Centre.

Mine is a thin plain band, no embellishment at all. It's not made to fit with my e-ring but it's actually not a bad fit.

I tried on a diamond band that had a bit of a curve to fit really nicely against my e-ring. It was beautiful, but I just didn't feel comfortable with that much bling, so I went for the plain band.

mine is the co-ordinate to my e-ring, diamonds across the whole front face... if there wasn't a match we would have custom made one because my e-ring is a different shape and it needs to be complimented with the same shaped wedding band

My e-ring came from a jewellry store that was closing down, so FI got a great deal on it. It didn't have a wedding band to go with it, so we had to look around for one. We found a channel set white gold band to match at Ben Moss Jewellers. My FI's ring is also from there and his is a white gold band with 2 rows of diagonal diamonds. Each row has 5 diamonds. It cost around $700. Mine was only $350 on sale!

Fi and I got our bands at Berani Jewellery at Bayview Village. We both picked designs they had there (and they have beautiful designs!!). Mine had to be resized, and FI had to get a new one created with a diamond that I provided.

Mine is kind of a Tacori style, vintage looking. Matches with my e-ring but I'm wearing them on separate hands (too bulky to go together).  FI's is thick, brushed white gold with a "step design" (I don't know how to describe) with 1 diamond.

They kind of look like these:

we'll probably get ours from bluenile.ca. i want one with diamonds halfway around it. my FI got my engagement ring there and it is gorgeous and amazing quality. they have great prices because they don't have the overhead of stores. i brought my ring to be sized at birks and the woman working there thought he paid twice as much for it then he actually did. he also checked out spence. he said the quality and customer service was great but the prices were way higher then bluenile.

We got my engagement ring, and we're getting our bands from, titaniumrings.com / Arnell workshops - they're in BC. I've bought from them before and they're wonderful. They aren't *totally* custom but there were enough options that I doubt there's anything like them.

Custom bands as well as a huge range of designer can be found through the online store for Global Wealth Trade, a Canadian designer-grade company. Browse online, or contact this distributor to book a private showroom viewing in Richmond Hill.

He had my ring made at Spence diamonds. 19k white gold with large centerstone, and 8 smaller stones. 4 on each side. There's a matching band at Spence with the same size smaller stones. 10 of them.

If your budget is a bit tight and you want the diamonds in it, Spence has slim bands with lots of little diamonds for only around $400 and up. To save a bit, you can go with the 14k gold.
