Stamps

Hello ladies,

I am sending out my invitations on Tuesday and have stamps for everything, except reply stamps for the rsvp cards because some of them are coming back from the states.  I went to the post office and you can't purchase stamps from another country.  Does anybody know if there's somewhere else in Toronto where you can purchase american stamps?

Yeah I had this problem too.  I just let my international invitees know that they could email RSVP if they didn't want to pay for a stamp - it worked well - no one really seemed to care about mailing it anyway! 

Do you have a LOT coming from the states?

No, to be honest it's only about 8 invites.  I was thinking about doing the rsvp online thing for them as well!  Did you write in on your reply card or did you email them letting them know they could do it online?

I emailed them the day I sent out the invites.  They just emailed me back saying if they were coming or not, etc.  I didn't use an online RSVP site or anything.

For future reference, and anyone who comes after, there are a *lot* of places you can get US postage in Canada, especially in Toronto. What you want to do is rather than a post office, look for a Stamp Dealer. Tell them you're looking for US first class stamps to put on a return envelope. Most of these guys are incredibly nice and more than happy to help. If anyone wants specific info as to who to go to, PM me.
