wedding consultant for "day of"

My wedding consultant is not well and can no longer do my wedding. Most of the planning is done. I wondered if anyone knows someone good who does just the wedding day, at a reasonable price.

what about the person you were dealing with. Don't they have someone that they can ask on your behalf and since it's a referral they might give you a great rate to help out the one who is sick?

If you are not able to find someone within your budget or that you can work with, perhaps you can ask one of your friends or family members to oversee your day.

Ditto to PP - I didn't have a "day of" person, but my dad actually met with all the vendors while the girls did their hair and had a copy of my plans for them so he smoothed anything out that was necessary. Both sets of parents worked with with the venue after the ceremony as well, so DH and I could relax. The key is the planning, however, I had a lot of schedules made up beforehand so everyone knew exactly what was going on.
