U of T St. George Campus

I'm wondering if anyone has had their Ephotos or wedding photos taken at U of T campus downtown. My fiance and I are doing our engagement shoot there in October. Just looking for any advice or hot spots that are hidden from plain sight. Did you need a permit? Online it says yes, according to my photographer, no one ever asks to see the permit. Just curious......

You'll probably need a permit for enclosed parts of campus or buildings, perhaps its not as big of a deal if you are on the main streets surrounding the campus, however.  If no one asks, you're lucky, but they can ask you to erase the images or fine you if you are without - better safe than sorry!

You need a permit and I actually have seen permit officers/whoever around campus asking bridal parties for them in the past.  I think e-pics which are a bit more inconspicuous would be easier to sneak around.

Most people do them in the big grass area (with the soccer fields) outside of Convocation Hall - lots of nature stuff, gardens, and entrances/archways to the old campus buildings.

Ditto. You also need a permit, they will come and ask. I didn't get my engagement photos taken there but my friend hair their wedding photos done and they were asked for it.

Yes, they are pretty strict. We did our wedding photos there and they practically followed us around. Contact the Office of Space Management at U of T.
