Late night snacks

Hi

My sister is looking to book some sort of food stand late night for her wedding.  Any suggestions? 

We contacted mcdonalds and are waiting on a reply.

Not sure who you you would get to do this but my fiance and I were thinkig of having poutine (Harvey's??)... our DJ actually told us that he had seen it at a few of the weddings he worked at and it sounded like a good idea to us - after a night of drinkng and dancing I could totally eat some of that!

We're going to make meat and cheese trays with buns and some fruit and veggie trays.

I saw an episode of Rich Bride Poor Bride once that had a chip truck that would come and do all you can eat hotdogs and fries for about $500!

I would love to do that!!! But I don't think our venue would go for it.

I'm not sure which chip truck it was but it was parked across from Toronto City Hall and the Eaton Centre.

Our venue won't let us bring in outside food, we specifically asked about McDonald's and they weren't happy about it.  We've asked them to do something like that RBPB episode with the hot dog cart, we're having BBQd hot dogs & sausages cooked (by the venue's chef) on the patio attached to our hall!

I've also seen pizza several times, pre-book a delivery time and they'll bring you 10 or 20 pizzas right to the reception hall.

For McDonalds, I would just go to the one that is closest to the venue and see if someone who is ending their shift would deliver it if you paid them to do it.  My sister works at McDonalds and she's done that before.

We are going to do a sweet table and people can use that as their favors and load up a bag of goodies for the way out... and eat some there if they want to snack...
