have you heard of Trade Sesnsation?

I just saw this full planning offer and it seems a bit too good to br true:

Diamond Enhanced Full Planning Package $2,500.00 http://www.tradesensation.com/services/event-planning/weddings/

I'm a little hesitant with booking with companies that offer everything from invites, to photography, to decor rentals to planners.  Has anyone had any experience with them?

Haven't heard of them - but they seem pretty legit.  It's kind of a one stop shop.  You'll no doubt get discounts for using them - I've seen a few sites for wedding planning where they have an all in one shop.

I do find their package expensive though - check out Let's Party Consultants and ask for Leena.  Her pricing is amazing and is a flat-rate and not a percentage of your wedding budget.

We met with the lady at Trade Sensations - we told her many times we were just looking for decor and we gave her our budget.  She came back with a package that was 150% larger than the budget we gave her, included very little (mostly very blingy things, think woodbridge - I'm not knocking it, we just kept telling her it wasn't our style) and didn't even include the ceremony decor, which she said she'd email over the next day.  Almost a week later I followed up asking about the cost of the ceremony decor and she basically said she had sent it to me, then actually sent it over.  Adding that in, she had more than doubled our budget.  She also continually tried to sell us their other stuff - invitations, photography, etc.  She was kind of the typical slimey sales person in my opinion.

We are going with the Wedding Decorators - I don't have a review because our wedding is next week, but so far, they have been fabulous!

I met with them as well and also felt like she wasn't really listening to what I was saying.  I very clearly was only looking for certain things and she was trying to sell me on other things/trying to convince me to buy more from them.

I left the meeting frustrated and annoyed and decided before I even got into the parking lot that I didn't want to even consider using them.

I think if you had a really high budget and weren't a DIY bride at all that you could like working with them.

thanks.  My other issue is that I'm affriad they would only refer themselves  for vendors and wouldn't use anyone else.  Im going to interview with a few ppl and see who we 'mix' well with.  thanks for the feedback

    Hey Dixie,

I like your inviites - did you do them yourselves?  If so, where'd you get your supplies?

To Agnes - not sure where you're located but if you're looking for a planner, other than Leena that I suggested, also try Diane of The Bride's Butler.  She works out of Hamilton.

    Thanks Jewel :)

I did make them myself.  I got the pocket folds and envelopes from paper-garden.ca, and all the rest of the paper from shopanchorpaper.com.
