Shower Venue

Does anyone have any good ideas of resonably priced places/venues to throw a bridal shower with about 40 people attending? (preferably in Toronto)

I am trying to help my mom do a bit of research... even restaurants work for us!

We used "Great Cooks on 8" - on the 8th floor of the bay near Arcadian Court.  I think my aunt had a discount because she's friends with Bonnie Brooks, however.  Worth checking out - a great view of the city, lots of natural light, and great staff!

Great new place that opened up called Magnolia Event Boutique.  It's in North York.  Don't know if that's too far.  Excellent food and great looking venue (very modern.. all black and white).  Around the $40-50 mark depending on which food you choose of course.

Try the restaurant Calisco on College St. That's where my "surprise" shower will be held and I heard the venue is nice.
