Martini Vases?

Does anyone know where I can purchase giant martini glass vases?

Any tips would be most helpful! Thank you!

I do have one - I'll have to check out the name for you.  It's the place where my glass vases came from.  I just have to check the boxes which are at my mother's house.  I'll find for you by the weekend.  How soon do you need to know?

Actually I have seen them in Walmart. (the walmarts that have craft and home sections)

I have seen nicer ones in flower stores but they were more expensive.

You might try Decor-rent, they also sell vases. (at least the woman on the phone said they did) There were some on their website before so perhaps they would sell those as well.

I have heard about some great wholesale places in Mississauga, but it's my understanding that you need a vendor permit to be able to shop at those places.

I'm a little weary about ordering online as they'll be glass - have either of you had experience with this before?

I found a florist that will allow me to bring in my own vases so it's an opportunity to save a bit of money - which is always nice when it comes to wedding plans, LOL!

Decor-Rent.com is their website I believe. I was there today to pick up my headtable and cake table decor. They will do it for you but they also rent everything you might want. (or sell some things too) If you aren't getting a decorator and are on a budget you  might try them for linens as well. (head table stuff) They teach you how to do it and it's really easy!

Their website has some info but calling them was easiest. Their warehouse/showroom is in Concord.

A friend of mine was looking for giant martini glasses too and I was doing research to find them for her -- convenient!   Here a few places that either sell or rent them out:

-  The first is a website that says out of stock (http://www.beyondalldreams.com/2.html), but it might be worth it to call them and double check?  Maybe they just haven't updated their website. 

 

- The second place I found was http://theultimateweddingproject.com/  (you'll find them listed under the "glass vases" section - item # 830501).  No prices listed. 

- I heard that Michaels sells them.. but I don't know at what price.  You could always scour the newspaper for 40% off coupons if they are expensive.

- Lastly I saw this place at the open house of my venue... they had tall martini glasses in their display, so they must have them.  You could try e-mailing the main girl (Felicia - felicia@rosepetaldecor.com) to see how much it would cost. Be a bit weary though because I was quoted one price (for chair sashes) at the open house and when I followed up a few days later, it was doubled.

I'll keep you posted if I come across any more!
