having difficulty with colour scheme. i know i want some sort of orange gerbera's, what would look good with it.  What colour should my BM dresses be?

Well I see you are getting married in May, so you don't really want all fall colours.  Alot of people pair bright colours like orange and fuschia together, but I like the subtle combo of orange and pale blue or even gray.  A great website is www.snippetandink.com - you can type in your colour and they'll pull up inspiration boards.

Not a lot of people can pull off wearing orange, so I would suggest a neutral or accent colour choice for dresses.  Grey and orange are really big right now, and gray or silver dresses would be beautiful.

Another way to choose might be to take your girls out and see what colours look good on them.  One girl on the WP board ended up choosing her bm dresses that way and liked the resulting colour scheme better than the one she'd initially picked!

Orange, yellow and pink is one of my all time favourite colour schemes.  I also think doing orange and pink accents against black could be gorgeous.  It all depends on the look and feel you're going for.

Just please don't put your bm's in orange dresses.  It's a really hard colour to pull off.

yeah i wasn't going to go orange for bridemaid dreses...wanted something different.  looked into a charcoal/steel greyish colour.  and if the doesn't work most likely black to be easy.  thanks for the suggestions.
