Hi ladies,
Not sure if this is the right board to post on, but I lurk on here a lot and have gotten some great advice and ideas (so, thanks!). We are having a full Catholic mass for our wedding but I don't think my question even has anything to do with whether the mass is Catholic or not, but I thought I could get some good inputs and answers here...
FI & I are getting married in the cathedral that both my parents and grandparents were married in (30+ & 60+ years ago). FI & I are very honored/proud/excited that we are able to do this. Would it be appropriate to mention this somewhere in the program... or would that be odd? Any ideas for wording of this?
Would the fact that FI's parents are divorced make it at all odd to mention about my parents/grandparents? I would love to mention it but just don't know if its a sensitive subject (been divorced over 10 years)? FI is just as excited about this as I am so I would assume he thinks its a great idea to mention and share with our family/friends -- I'll ask him of course, but wanted to get your thoughts as well.
Thanks!
