Have any of you done one of these weekends or considered doing one in the future?

    Even though I am not married yet, I have heard great things about it. My FI parent's actually did it shortly after they were married and said it was a great experience. My FI and I will probably do it down the road, esp since he has talked of becoming a deacon someday in the future.  If you did or know what Engaged Encounter is, it is actually an offshoot of Marriage Encounter. EE has a website, so I would assume ME would as well. You could also probably contact your priest/deacon for info or where to get started.

    I've heard great things about Marriage Encounter weekends.  Everyone who has mentioned going on one has said that they enjoyed it. 

    Retrouvaille is similar in format, but designed for marriages that are experiencing some problems.  My H and I actually did a Retrouvaille weekend a while ago when we were having some issues... and it was really great for us and helped us a lot.
