I am starting my planning and would love any vendor recommendations.

Welcome and good luck with your planning! When is your wedding? Do you have any particulars such as needing to stay in a certain budget, must haves like an outdoor reception, etc?
Here are my vendors this far:
Ceremony: St. Philip's the Apostle Catholic Church in Millersville
Reception: the Marriott at Penn Square
Photographer: Erin Keough Photography
Florist: Petals with Style
DJ: Mixed Impressions DJs
Honeymoon: booked through AAA Travel in Centerville (its on Estelle Blvd), we're going on a Carnival cruise to Florida and the Bahamas
Dress: Allure bought from Weddings by Paulette in Millersville

Our current project is working on finding a baker and taste testing.

Linda's Cakery in Mt. Joy. She's a delight to work with and her cakes look and taste amazing! Also, if you need an officiant, Father Joe McLaughlin is awesome. He does all types of ceremonies, but since he left the Catholic church, that's the one place he's not allowed to perform ceremonies at.

AMAZING. Did our engagement pics..see link in my signature at bottom of this post He is from Shelfont, PA but travels to Lancaster area for no added cost. Cheap and great at what he does.

Cake: House of Clarendon (Lancaster) http://www.houseofclarendon.com/ GREAT tasting cake with amazing style. Martine (owner) was on TLC for a cake contest and won. Also he is host of Dream Weddings on Sundays on local WGAL.

DJ: Adam McCallister from Bird's Nest Productions (York). SO fun and awesome to be around. Makes people laugh but knows what you mean when you say you don't want an annoying DJ! Prices are amazing..even includes lighting.

Rings: Koser's Jewelers (Mount Joy) Best place to go for quality and good price. My fiance did a lot of research and brand name stores have not so good quality diamonds. The prices are great- since you have extra time to plan..wait until they have a promotion. WE got $100 off on our rings during one of them- Usually in the spring time.

Also, I recommend you got to the Rose Bridal event at the Eden Resort (Hosted by 101 the Rose) on Oct. 30th. I went there last year and got good deals on my vendors for using their promotions from the event. Great way to get ideas too!
