Meg, I noticed you were trying to decide on bustle options for a lace dress!  If it helps you any, mine is also mostly lace, with the exception of the bodice.  My seamstress mocked up three options for me that I posted about here <<clicky

I'm probably going with the three-point over-bustle because of my fuller skirt (Mori Lee 2409) ... but the French under-bustle was a close second for me!

Thanks!  This is really helpful.  I like the 3-point on your dress as well.  I'm not sure if it would work on my dress as the skirt is narrow, but I will definitely talk to the seamstress about it.
